Meet Jeremy & Matt
Mixing design and architecture with fashion and manufacturing, Jeremy Graef and Matthew Noll combine passion and expertise to create Connate, a contemporary atelier studio and furniture brand.
An award-winning interior designer, Jeremy has made custom furniture for clients for years and aspires to create furniture that embodies his Californian aesthetic in a new and sophisticated way.
The perfect fusion of design and manufacturing, Jeremy partnered with Matthew Noll in 2019 to create Connate. Matthew brings a unique vision and skillset, coming from a career in fashion, most notably his tenure in sustainable product sourcing and manufacturing with Patagonia.
They compliment each other in their mission to create a brand that merges design with function, and art with home.
Created in Los Angeles
Having both grown up in Los Angeles, Jeremy and Matthew are inspired by the architecture and style of the city.
With a design & atelier studio in West Hollywood, California, on the Sunset Strip, they bring their Californian aesthetic of clean lines, organic finishes, indoor/outdoor vibes and passion for quality materials to Connate.
Hand crafted by local artisans
Connate furniture is made-to-order and crafted by hand, locally so we can ensure specs are met and design is executed.
Working with the best woodworkers, stone smiths and upholstery tailors in the industry, each product is made with care, and to the highest level of quality.
Local craft and made-to-order also reduces our carbon footprint for Connate products, and is the most sustainable practice for furniture manufacturing.
A vision & mission for good
Connate has a vision to create beautiful heirloom quality furniture and objects, that are both timeless in design and made of lasting quality.
While we design with a vision to create products that last generations, and produce locally - limiting our footprint, we still want to give back and create a positive impact on the world.
Through 1% for the Planet, Connate gives one percent of all sales back to environmental groups. Each product sold, allows for greater impact.
